Premade engines are easier to learn than coding shit from the ground up. Fuck around with default assets, terrain generation, lighting and what not.
AI is a pain in the ass but mostly everything else is relatively simple. Even if you don't succeed I can assure it'll be fun when you make your first shitty island with stationary enemies.

RPG Maker was created for people like you.
Don't want to code? Use the pre-made engine and get fancy scripts from other people.
Can't into art? Use RTP (who gives a shit about what people thing about RTP, people sell RTP-full games on Steam and they get money from it) or get free resources from forums and japanese blogs.

Just put your ideas in there and see how shitty they are because you can't write a decent dialogue even if your life depended on it!

One way to get your game made is when showing your game proposal to publishers, mention things like merchandise and mobile spin offs and other stuff and they will buy into that shit immediately, no matter how basic and unoriginal your idea is.

Write up design documents for your games. Shit's harder than it seems unless you're making some Cookie Clicker shit, and is a lot more mechanical than story and dialogue writing.

Learn RPG Maker, or other similar software. No coding required. You will be gimped by it though, as you need to code to make really unique mechanics and stuff. Get used to the interface and prefabs, then start learning basic Ruby. There's no getting around the coding unless you having a partner who can do the coding.

That's the difference between a lazy idea shitter and being productive. Also, your first few projects will probably be shit. Just accept that and practice.

If writing is all you're concerned with, just make Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books. Like the Choice Of games, they're on sale on Steam and for what I've seen some of them are quite decent
