This made the MegaMan Zero series a pain to play. I never felt good settling with a rank lower than A because you miss out on the extra boss attacks.
The rank system brings the game's pace to a crawl when you're always replaying the same mission trying to settle for a decent rank. Other MegaMan games feel like a breeze to play when you're not worried about a mission results grade.
