Yesterday i tried to play FFVII but the remake version just erased all of my saves after a few hours of gameplay and once i googled it i saw that it seems to be a common issue. I tried some other pirated version but there you can't set any controls, they are on the numpad by default and i don't have a fucking numpad on my keyboard.
Is there any fucking way to play this game on pc?

ePSXe and pSX are pretty much the quintessential Playstation 1 emulators.
ePSXe has a lot of flexibility and plugins to alter video, audio, sound, whatever else. May take some fucking with and trying different plugins to get it to work smoothly.
pSX is self-contained and designed to "just work" with little flair or gimmicks. It's stable and simple and it's going to look like a PS1 game would.
