Probably depending on how well it plays, it'll be a great plug and play for the family if its good plus I won't have to pull out the nes when I want to play some of these games.
I do think it could be improved greatly with analog outputs and the ability to expand the library whether by original cart or special carts

Maybe. It depends entirely on what kind of scaling it has. If it's 5x 4:3 nearest neighbor integer scaling then I'd be all over that shit. If it's the same dark, blurry bilinear filtered bullshit that they sell on Virtual Console then I'd be a lot more hesitant.
Especially so because I've got a real NES that I'm planning to mod for RGB output, and eventually I'm getting an Everdrive that I can load up with every NES game I could ever possibly want to play and then some. Granted, $60 for an NES mini is still pretty damn cheap compared to a modded NES, an XRGB Framemeister and games / an Everdrive, but you get what you pay for-- a plug and play TV game.
I have no doubt it will be higher quality construction than Sega's plug and play Genesis TV games, and it has HDMI out while Sega's only had composite. However, Sega's plug and plays could be modded, and the "Model 4" unit actually came with a cartridge slot and controller ports, making it a full-fledged Genesis console right out of the box.
The NES mini could be a really tough egg to crack and I doubt Nintendo is thrilled by the thought of people adding an SD card slot and using it to emulate unauthorized NES ROMs, or possibly even other consoles depending on how powerful the CPU is.
