/v/ is not the place to mature your game. Note I said mature. Coming to /v/ as a launchpad can do amazing things. People who genuinely care can provide advice you won't get anywhere else(that being brutal honesty), and they can help get a fledging idea wider notice. Anonymity also protects the developer as he explores a random idea that may not work.
Past a certain point, a game needs more than that. The dev and consumer need to develop more of a relationship, and feedback needs to come in more stable forms. Anonymity won't allow a deeper relationship. Once the game starts outgrowing a chan, it's time to let go.
