This will not reach true 4K, Sony's presentation slides showed they are only aiming for over 1080p.
Games released in the past WILL NOT get a framerate boost, only a resolution boost via upscaling to whatever PS4.5's ultra high resolution will be. Certainly doesn't seem to be pushing to 4K like Scorpio.
Will have NO backwards compatibility (PC, Wii U, X1 are all backwards compatible).
Only games from October and onward will require special developer programming to activate framerate boost in addition to the regular upscaling.
