The MangaGamer versions are superior to the Steam version since they actually received proof reading and editing to not read like trash.
Which the original writer apparently took great offence at, and broke off from Mangagamer, ran straight back to Sekai Project, and removed their patches from the Steam version of the titles.
So now the only way to get the definitive versions is to pirate them. It's ridiculous how pathetic Winged Cloud and Sekai Project are.

Sekai Project, Winged Cloud's initial publisher, are notoriously terrible.
After a few years on the market, Winged Cloud made a deal with Magagamer to be their publisher instead. And all was fine and dandy.
But since Mangagamer actually cares about the quality of the products and how their products presents themselves, they invested resources into putting out an "edited and quality assured" script for Winged Cloud's titles. Which Winged Cloud was fine with, to a start.
These quality assured scripts are notably better. But it also turns out that it made Winged Cloud notably frustrated and upset, as if the editing was insulting them instead of a routine procedure that anything from magazines to videogames are subjected to usually. So in their frustration they broke off from Mangagamer after already having broken off from Sekai Project.
They tried to publish their titles on their own for a while but they were apparently terrible at that, so now they recently crawled back to Sekai Project. Mangagamer however still has the rights to their quality assured script, but since Winged Cloud broke off from Mangagamer and withdrew their licence they can and will no longer sell Winged Cloud's titles. Meaning that no one is eligible to sell and publish the quality assured scripts.
It's a total shitfest really. Sekai Project and Winged Cloud clearly has no standards, yet they rub eachother the wrong way anyway since their shittiness upsets both of them. Mangagamer actually has standards and puts resources into doing proper work, which upsets both Sekai Project and Winged Cloud since they have no such standards. And now Sekai Project and Winged Cloud rely on eachother in spite of everything since Winged Cloud needs a publisher and Sekai Project needs Winged Cloud's sales, and they're the only ones who will accept eachother since neither of them have standards. It's all fucked.

Sekai Project got some good things under their belt. Like Grisaia and G-Senjou for instance.
But they still mismanage their products to hell. They're disingenuous and frequently deceive or even lie or outright insult their audience. Make lots of promises that they frequently fail to keep. They keep localizing 18+ works while doing their best to avoid actually localizing any of the actual 18+ content since they've gone on record saying that 18+ content is filthy and that 18+ fans are all pirates and beneath them. Ero is something they figure would slander their clean image or whatever, but at the same time that they publish stuff like Nekopara and the Sakura titles, and they keep going after 18+ works even if they have to be made all ages.
Grisaia was delayed. Still hasn't gotten its promised ports. The 18+ patch took forever. The sequels were delayed. And in spite of the second title already having been released there has been no word whatsoever on the 18+ release outside of them trying to shift the blame onto the developer while the developer just flips it back to Sekai Project.
G-Senjou was pretty much sent off to die. Absolutely no marketing whatsoever, barely even making note of the release on their own damn twitter. A legitimate stealth Steam release. In addition to this the original 4:3 resolution wasn't good enoughf or them, so for this "improved" release they adapted it for wide-screens, meaning that they cut off the tops and bottoms of all images in order to stretch them across the screens. Effectively fucking with all the art by just cutting it off. The title was also made all-ages for their release, even though there has never been an all-ages release for G-Senjou before. Japan still doesn't have an all-ages release. And Sekai Project still haven't published an 18+ version of the title, and by the sound of things they never will.
Just about any developer who has worked with Sekai Project have left them, with few exceptions.

Playing through Sakura Dungeon and it's so fucking boring. What the fuck is with all this dull-ass dialogue and "world-building"? It's a porn game. I appreciate all the nudity, but when is anyone going to fuck or do anything remotely sexy? Demon Master Chris knew it was a porn and completely embraced it. Every new dungeon had a sex scene to start things off and there were even sexy moments in the tavern, like Chris practicing high kicks in her china dress with no panties, or being turned into a catgirl in heat that needed to be shlicked into submission.
Why the fuck is Sakura Dungeon trying to pretend it has a plot worth caring about? And jesus christ we don't need every monster to chime in with their one-note quirks when ANYTHING happens during the story.

The Steam version of Grisaia is translated by the same person who did the fan TL, I believe just some additional editing was done. It's a superb translation.
Don't give a cent to Sekai. Pirate it. If you want to support the original publisher (Frontwing) then buy one of their games. Preferably their upcoming ones, they should be coming out with Island in the future, so look out for that.

The 18+ version should be fine I think. It's still the original fan translation and they just hired the guy as a freelancer and he was allowed to do additional editing.
I heard however that it still has a bunch of engine bugs that weren't present in the initial release or the fan patched release. I think the Imouto Works's "restoration patch" improves it somehow but I am not entirely sure how.
