If you're in the tutorial temple you can literally just run past all the enemies and talk your way past the guyor just pickpocket. You don't even have to fight anything. Also why are you talking about your spear/unarmed accuracy if you said you just got a gun

Yeah the start is a bitch. It gets better once you find a gun and enough bullets. After you find hunting rifle, you won't be using melee anymore.

What you can do is walk a little ways in the overworld map until you get a random event, and what should happen relatively often is you get two groups that fight among themselves and you can just clean up afterwords and take all of their guns.

I mean I liked the enhanced version of Wasteland 2. I wish the combat was a little more in-depth but aside from that I think it's pretty charming. I think some russains made what is basically a new fallout game, in the style of the old ones, but it's just not called fallout. And underrail.
