The way they leap at you is fucking terrifying.
The boss spider is pretty horrifying too, especially how whats her name is screaming in terror as you find her right before it drops down.

Man do you spider crybabies ever give it a rest? I'm so tired of going on the internet and having all these little kids pissing themselves over spiders. I've talked to people who claim that fighting the spiders in Legend of Grimrock was too scary and made them cry out of fear, it's just embarrassing and annoying.

I'm too scared to post a picture. But the Kwana Queen, and the Kwama warriors, in Morrowind, always sent chills up my spine. They just look so ugly.

Seriously, played HL2 long ago and when I saw those 'tongues' I didn't figure they were tongues, just... I don't fucking now. So walking into one of them to get dragged up into the ceilling about to get eaten alive was fucking NIGHTMARISH.
