Tried it out for like one afternoon and it seems pretty bad honestly. Combat at gyms sucks and even collecting Pokemon seems pretty boring. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but are you just supposed to randomly walk around and maybe occasionally check if there is something interesting nearby? So I just walk aimlessly through town, from Pokestop to Pokestop and look at my phone to throw a ball occasionally. Maybe it's different if you have a lot of friends that play it or walking around with somebody else (like some normie scum), but I'd rather just grind in some random JRPG in the comfort of my own home.
