After playing Space Engineers I honestly can't get interested in this.
Sure exploring is fun but what's the point if I can't build dozens of ships, space stations, moon bases, collect plants, hunt animals and build space zoos, or be a space trucker?

It's fun to play for a bit every now and then. The scope is mind blowing and it looks pretty as hell with shit tons of wallpaper material.
Ultimately there's not really anything to do except just fly around though, so it's not really something you're going to be playing obsessively, but seeing as it's free there's not any reason to not try it.

If your ship is blown up in space, you end up at the nearest space station and lose some stuff to cover the repair costs.
If your ship is blown up in the atmosphere of a planet, you crash land and have to find or use the resources you have to fix it.
If you die on foot, you lose a bunch of resources and return to wherever your ship is landed.
seeing as I will be traversing the center of the universe (>implying the universe is flat), would I atleast have the opportunity to traverse through the soul crushing distances between major galaxies?
