I googled your cpu, and it seems very outdated. an outdated cpu can hold back graphics performance if it's very underpowered, which likely would be the case here.
You would likely need a whole system upgrade.
You'd need a new motherboard to use a newer cpu.
My tip is, buy a cheap prebuilt with only intel hd graphics, and an intel core i5 processor, then slap that GTX 950 in and you should be gravy.

intel hd graphics is a part of many i5 and i7 cpus.

Laptops are known to be overpriced and you can't upgrade laptops in the same way as you can upgrade a desktop.
And a desktop prebuilt, even without the new graphics card, is likely stronger than a cheap laptop.
buying a laptop doesn't really solve any problems, unless you pay a lot.
If you want a laptop, then of course, go for it, but it's not the most cost friendly.
And it will take you longer to save up money to build a desktop gaming pc, cause you spent the money on a laptop instead.

the 350 dollar pc the other anon mentioned is the cost of the pc parts. Buying a prebuilt will be about 100-150 dollars more expensive because of the extra charges + windows.
It's still a convenient solution to jest upgrade the gpu on a prebuilt, if yuo're not comfortable with building one from scratch.
