It is exactly that. You can plug the NES controller into your wiimote and use it to play NES games on your virtual console.

it's HDMI only, you can inject roms, and all of it is emulated
translation: you might as well just play it on PC
best case scenario is this is a repurposed wii mini like some people have speculated and it'll be easy to break into. Even then though it's just a glorified and overpriced emulation box.
