Honestly, Corrin lacks good compatibility witj anyone, his character's too bland. I liked Oboro and Setsuna, didn't see enough of Kagero and Orochi's supports to decently judge them, but Tsubaki and Keaton seemed pretty dull, and Kaze died before I could see enough of him.
Also do I make Corrin Nohrin or Hoshidon noble, I can learn Nohrian thrust from the logbook, but I don't know how much I need a healer when I already have Elise and Sakura to train up

Gameplay wise, the utility of staves is much better, since Corrin can just use a Levin Sword if he needs range or magic damage.
Though, I like the Nohr design a lot more.
