Comfy is a more concrete and specific adjective than "epic".
If someone says a game is comfy, they're providing a well defined, subjective reason as to why they enjoy the game.

Not really. They're about equal. People cannot agree on what a comfy game is or is not, people can usually agree on what game is going for the "epic" feel. God of War or most call of dutys for example.

The vast majority of people play video games because they enjoy the look and feel of said video games. If they like the scenario, the characters, the aesthetics, and if the overall gameplay loop is fun enough to keep them entertained, then nothing else matters.
