No anon. It makes me really happy when a platform that historically doesn't have many Japanese games available on it starts getting ports of Japanese games. It makes the platform have more fun stuff to enjoy, introduces games to a potentially new audience, thus helping people find more fun new games to enjoy, and gives people more options on how and where they play their game if they so want it. Now people can get this game on PS4 and/or PC, rather than only having PS4 as an option beforehand, so people have more choices! They can go one way or the other (or even both!), and I think that's really cool. I just hope people enjoy it! It would suck if people buy the game and find out that they don't like it.
Plus I'd be lying if I said that wasn't one of the reasons I was considering getting the game; I like supporting companies that do that.

The DLC weapons [cause they all are] come as a single weapon that doesn't get added to the drop table and as such you'll never find better versions of it and they'll be outclassed by things in game.
For the most part they are not worth it, although a couple of them have their uses even in high level play.
The only DLC I'm personally going to get are the ones that are not actually listed yet, which are the mission pack DLCs.

Shootan big bugs with big guns. Its a real videogame, and as sad as it is there arent many of them in this day and age.
I like that its so simple, theres no "go to X and plant C4 then go to Y and protect burgertown", its "here is your map, here is the enemy, kill anything that isnt human" and scenarios just spawn from that rather than being forced to happen.

I suppose the first thing that comes to mind is the scale of things:
Every mission puts you in a gigantic open level, most times a Japanese city scape. It then floods the stage with enemies, and you gotta kill 'em all.
EVERY SINGLE BUILDING is demolishable, and that really increases the sense of destruction you can achieve in the game.
There are lots of enemy types, and a pretty damn big number of different weapons and character classes, which, make for lots of fun scenarios.
The multiplayer bit helps.
