It's the best Soulsborne title. There is "less" build variety in that there are far less weapons, but each is very unique and feels totally different. The decreased weapon count allowed them to make weapons that stand apart and in doing so, builds do actually play pretty differently. Arcane builds are harder to do right in the beginning and take until near the end of the game and NG+ to truly shine but once they do, they're extremely fun. Best fashion souls experience too. The game focuses more on technical skill in combat than any of the others, it has the best boss fights in the series, and the setting is totally different too. There's no reason to not play it.
