A part of the charm of Pico was that it was crappy but funny game designed by an edgy nerd who was probably between 17 to 20 years old. Now Tom is like 35, and has a wife and a kid; he wouldn't be able to replicate Pico even if he actually sat down to make the game.
The community made some pretty good ones though, and that's all we need.
