Do you ever play a game online regularly with people from /v/? If so, which game?
>>344940558
Fuck no
Every person I've ever added has either been an awkward fuck with no idea how to hold a conversation, or a cringey meme spewing autist who is clingy and depressed.
I would love for things to be different, but literally everytime i play with someone I met on /v/, they fall into one of these two categories.
I don't play online because I have 4G internet and any game requiring precise timing is borderline unplayable. Is there any good turn based games I can play?
>>344941047
I'm sorry to hear that. I used to have such a good time playing with /v/ in that mouse flash game.
>>344941301
Civ 5 is pretty fun. It's hell to find a room that doesn't crash/doesn't have people leaving, but once you do you'll have a great time.
>>344941047
some faggot from /v/ messaged me one time after playing games
got him on skype now
been over a year
he's alright
didn't expect him to be cool
Garry's Mod recently
Meet person on no rules try server we play for a while.
Add him.
Go about servers triggering mods and admins.
Best time in garrys mod in a while.
If your here right now.
Fuck you you Jew.
I play with a group of little green ghouls buddy
Souls games.
It's nice because the tards here can't speak so you never have to hear their weird shit.
>used to post on the gametrailers forums when MVC3 came out. A lot of hype on the game's release.
>Made friends withing the cringy Fighting game community, add some dudes on PS3/360, have fun matches. Only one or two elitists that were complete assholes. Overall a good experience.
>Try the same on /v/ for Later releases of IV. Its all fucking weirdos.
The truth is that the cringiest site of all will always, and forever be /v/.
had fun playing risk of rain when it came out
after I played a match of csgo with an anon in 2014 I never tried it again, fucking awful

That's what happens when you play CS/shit games with /v/. I've never experienced anything like that in other games. FOTMs don't really happen anymore but they used to be great fun.
>>344940558
I don't think I've been friends with anybody here for longer than 48 hours before they start pushing dick pics and buttholes on me.
Never again.
Neotokyo
There was a time when /v/ was not so casual, and we used to play Tribes, AoS, Toribash...But that time is gone. We have the great "arena shooter" Overwatch, and Pokethescreen Go, now
>>344940558
Never played any games with anyone on here except maybe helping people in Bloodborne a few times and even then never joined a party, just did what I had to do and left.
I've added one person on steam once from one of the steam friends thread, spoke for a little but haven't spoken since.
I used to participate in the Smash/Mario Kart /v/kends but then I realized the Wii U was a mistake and sold the system without hesitation
>>344940558
>playing with /v/
?????
Only /vg/ is tolerable.
Why is /v/ full of freaks? I have so much fun slinging bantz in threads, but the second it leaves 4chan it's just dick pics and ERP. I wish for once I could find someone as chill as they act on the board.
>>344947134
Almost all of the generals there are shit and dead. Kept alive by the same autist that sticks around all day to bump the thread before it hits the archive. This creates some kinda shitty false discussion that boils down to some autist forcing memes and shitposting just to bump threads.
>>344947475*ERPs you*
>>344940558
i have never added anyone on here in anything
one time i played a dolphin netplay and that was good until all the faggots would only play air ride and quit after my F-zero GX hosting
>>344945816
is it sad that i already had this image saved?
like literally the exact same image, already saved, from another thread like this.
last time i played with /v/ was when sven co-op was re-released on steam. wasn't as horrible an experience as it usually is
>>344948238
It pretty commonly appears in cringe threads, which is where I yanked it from. Supposedly there's some backstory about who he is, but I can't remember for the life of me.
Have another.
Old /v/:
>Everyone has a good time, trolls are laughed out and people occasionally agree on fun/stupid house rules like "Pistols only"
Neo /v/:
>Everyone spouts memes constantly thinking they are 'supposed' to act that way around other /v/irgins. being as obnoxious as possible is the name of the game and you only win if you out annoy the other guy until he leaves
I wish I could leave /v/, but I have no where else to go
>>344945816
>Top blogposts
I don't know which is worse, that or "Name - 3 Days till B-Day has joined the server."
I play Runescape with /vg/
>>344949184
Ok.
>>344949184
it's really depressing seeing people on /v/ servers who are so socially maladjusted that the only way they know how to communicate is with memes and references
>>344949184
I see a lot more astroturfing than memes in /v/ these days.
>play few games with someone from /v/
>he messages me about stuff
>don't know how to reply
>I reply days late just barely answering questions
>never play games together again
I can't message people, talking in real life comes a lot more naturally to me. With chats I feel like I can spend a lot of time thinking, and when I think nothing goes well. In real life I answer a lot more quickly.
Friendly online relationships are just weird to me. I'm sorry /v/.
>>344945816
>fanny steam conversations on their profile
So many people have this shit. No one fucking caaaaaares.
>>344940558
I have played Bloodborne with people on /v/
>>344946074
This.
It really has less to do with /v/ being shit, and more to do with the fact that most CSGO players are annoying teenagers.
The biggest examples of /v/ cringe are always CSGO/COD/Minecraft, because those games attract retards and children.
i played some shitty japanese mobile card game with /jp/. I spent $300 on in game gatcha tokens then never logged in again after i pulled jack shit. got rused hard
>>344949942
AYY WHO THAT?
How much has /v/'s userbase changed in the past 3 years?
>>344950572
michelle jenneke, are you even trying
>>344940558
Regularly? Nah. I played Borderlands with /v/ at release. 10 fucking hours of fun. Same with Sins of the Solar Empire.
>>344940558
I played /v/scape for a couple months. Nonstop shitposting and circle jerking.
It honestly got to the point where I quit because I didn't want to listen to bullshit and memes all day.
>>344941047
Basically this
>avoid playing "with /v/" because it's always an exercise in how much of a shitshow a community can be
>after a while I give it another chance because I really like whatever game it is
>there are only two kinds of players; the esport tryhards and the retards that do nothing but fuck with the other players in attempts at "trolling"
>both are equally garbage at the game
>chat is filled with memes and >mfw
>voice chat is a total clusterfuck of mic spamming and people screaming over each other
>anime girl avatars everywhere
The only exception, literally ever, was with the little group of people on Star citizen, and what an excellent but short lived venture it was. Or when /tg/ runs a server because we boot you vapid fucks at the door.
>>344953614
Ugh. By Star Citizen I mean Star Conflict. Stay /comfy/
>>344940558
I play Company of Heroesand sometimes grand strategy gameswith my fellow /v/irgins. I've made a few friends of several years from here. One even came from Tennessee to visit me in Louisiana (we played Smash Bros while he was here). One of my /v/bros is a Brit and he's sending me a pack of British tea for my birthday that's coming up.
You guys can be super cool sometimes.
>>344953956
Did you have gay sex? Is still caged somewhere in your house?
>>344954238
Nah. Not my type.
Mario Kart 7 threads were fucking great.
The rest range from okay to bad.
>>344940558
I used to played Rainbow Six Siege with people from /v/ and /vg/. It was a good experience overall, there were some memers but it was mostly mature adults surprisingly.
Play with a group of people from the re7 discord that came from here. Nothing bad yet. So far we are into overwatch and evolve. It's all laughs and fun. Probably the only and best experience from 4chan I've gotten ever.
>tfw over five years since this photo was taken
The body I've lost, the comrades I've lost, won't stop hurting. It's like they're all still there...
I've learned from experience that nearly everyone on /v/ is universally bad at video games and playing with a /v/ group is like babysitting.

E.Y.E
I used to play Mario Kart 7 with /v/. I'd ride around in the shitty all-gold combo but would still usually win. Everyone hated me.
It was pretty funny.
>>344940558
Halo CE, was pretty fun. I miss those threads.
I've met one person from /v/ who I can actually talk to on a daily basis who isn't an autistic ERPer. We play R6 Siege, Rocket League and Overwatch
