Now that pokemon go is out and /v/ suddenly likes mobile gaming, post some ideas for mobile phone games similar to pokemon go.
Also, speculate as to what fire emblem go and animal crossing go will be like.
They would flop because there's no way either of those can be executed well. Meanwhile Pokemon Go is literally Pokemon in real life.
I think with Fire Emblem GO, players are soldiers for a team, much like how pokemon go is divided into three teams. But unlike pokemon go, FE GO is focused on PvP. Defeating another player "kills" them, making it so they can't play for a whole day. (think permadeath in FE)

Fire Emblem will probably have you build teams and "battle" opposing armies, e.g. your friends
the gameplay will be a casualized mockery of the tactical combat but will be fun in short bursts and have microtransactions

Fire Emblem would be a good opportunity for Nintendo to experiment with simply making a full fledged game for mobile hardware. There's nothing in particular that would stop it from working on a touch screen device.
