I played it a lot when it came out but wasn't it actually kinda bad?

Back when it came out people were oohing and ahhing the graphics. Now it looks like a turd.
It's the only MK game that doesn't feel super clunky since it used regular 2D style chain combos.
Quan Chi...is a hastily assembled group of body parts.
Yeah but you can literally run up as Scorpion, do a quick 3 hit chain, run up again, and it'll keep on combing even though they were on the ground. Up until 40-50% damage and it hits that weird ass "combo limit" that only exists in MK4. Which means you only have to do that 3 times tops to win a match.

I believe the Max damage thing was added at the last minute because the game was super rushed and they realized they were fucked and just gave up.
