I don't think they're 'hard' in the sense that they take a lot of mechanical skill to beat. It's like rolling two dice 100 times without getting snake eyes: at some point in the tedium of running in circles until you're allowed to get one hit you're going to make a mistake. Once you're on the second phase the fight's over because even with the buffs solo O&S are a joke.
