´Why is there a screenshot of halo on a PC games image?
Not him but what's the best CPU for around or less than $215?
>>344896257
6600k from micro center.
>>344895793
>MGS V
love this game. both good choices. they will keep you well over 100 hours.
>>344896379
Cheers.
>>344896019
What are the games with no titles other than Cuphead, Gears of War, Unreal and Scalebound?
specifically the 3rd row next to warhammer and the one directly below it.
OP here. My current CPU is an i5-3570k. Will this bottleneck my 1080?
Furi

Hyperdimension Neptunia.
>>344896575
Short answer: No.
>>344896575
Bottlenecks are for the most part horribly exaggerated in terms of how they affect GPU performance. The only time you'll really notice a drop in performance is if the game is heavily reliant on the CPU and you have a shit one.

Lets refrain
I'm building a PC for the first time. I've got everything decided on except for the GPU. I want the 1070, but it sends me a bit too fat over my budget. Will I be fine getting a 960, or is it cheaper in the long run to get the 1070?
>>344897102
How much are you paying for the 960? If you're hard up for cash, get a 480 or wait to see how the 1060 does, or wait for people to start mass selling off their 970s and 980s and snag one for very cheap.
>>344897102
Get GTX 1060, matey.
It's stronger, cheaper, and less power consuming than GTX 980, and will cost mere 250 bucks.
>>344897102
It'll be cheaper in the long run to get a 1070. The 960 is on it's way out.
If it's out of your budget just get an AMD 480.
If you're absolutely bent on Nvidia, get a 970 or wait for the 1060 in a week.
>>344895793
>he fell for the nvidia is "DX 12 ready" meme
Enjoy being slower than an R9 390 in a couple years lmao
>>344896192
Because Halo is on PC.
>>344895793
All of them
Literally all of them.
>>344897575
The first two Halo are on PC*
>>344897102
960 was trash on release it's an even bigger trash now. If you want a long lasting gpu that will max out games in the next 4-5 years get a 1070, if you can't go over your budget get a 1060 - it will be more than enough to max out games in 1080p for a long time.
>>344897102
1070 isn't that great. Small 256-bit bus (lmao, seriously?), and Pascal's architecture is terrible for DX12 and Vulkan. AMD is simply superior to get over the next few years. You'll end up getting cucked with the new Nvidia cards.
>>344897102
960 suffers of being a 128-bit card, meaning it can barely utilize anything more than ~2GB of vRAM effectively.
1060's Founder's edition has already proven to be stronger than 980 in benchmarks, a lot cooler and less power requiring than AMD's 480, and the non-founder's edition variants will have a price starting from 249$.

>>344897796
Oh boy, the amd defense force has arrived.
>>344897796
>it will be awesome in 8 years
Is the new Hitman game worth it? The way they're releasing it has me kinda confused...
>>344898086
No denying it at this point lad. Nvidia is holding everyone back by having these cards that destroy DX11 but are complete shit in Vulkan and DX12. You can't really defend Nvidia at this point, Pascal is a complete flop in the long term. I mean look at this shit, the RX 480 costing half as much yet performing only 10% slower.
Thinking of picking up a new HD, who has the best TB drives?
>>344898086
Enjoy burning money for hardly any performance gains lmao
>>344898517
AMD in charge of DX12, etc.
>>344897663
Halo 5 forge/custom games are coming my man
And like forza apex, they're testing the grounds for the next halo on pc
>>344898517
DELETE THIS
NVIDIA IS THE BEST
TEAM GREEN
THEY WOULD NEVER PRICE GOUGE THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS OR SHIP A CARD THAT WASN'T READY FOR DX12
>all these mad AMDfags
No wonder /g/ laughs at you.
>>344895793
>Recommend me some games /v/.
Why? You're only going to shitpost on /v/ at ultra setting anyway.
>>344895793
>paying a 1080 to play video games past 2007
waste of money senpai
>>344899840
More like /g/ laughs at all /v/ manchildren who fight over GPU's.
>>344899989
Damn. /g/ looks like they're fun to be around...
>>344899989
>buying a high end videocard for anything other than videogames
>implying the average neckbeard on /g/ is ever going to render anything intensive
At least /v/ is honest with its autism
