I won't watch that, but it is genuinely awful. It barely functions properly. Stuff constantly doesn't work and its a complete clustetfuck of design.
I uninstalled after about 2 hours and just bit the £10 loss.
Playing it co-op right now with a friend. This is still a very fun game, but I feel it is confused as to what it wants to be.
I honestly find RE5 to be the better game, it is more light-hearted than RE4 which I think works for its over the top cinematic action feel. It still had the survival aspects with the inventory management and player controls.

I did. We had fun laughing at how completely unmemorable and stupid it was. We would have both preferred a single player experience like RE4. But the stupid fucks at capcom saw Asley and thought "Well obviously the next step is that someone controls her!!!" and suddenly everything had to be dumbed down for the co-op experience.

RE5 plays a heck of a lot like RE4, it isn't as good as RE4 but I would consider it a worthy follow-up nonetheless.
I don't know how you can love RE4 and state that RE5 is a bad game, outside of the AI and inventory system RE5 essentially is a more action packed RE4 with larger areas.

The games are only mechanically identical, and even then they handle inventory management very differently. More of an issue though is that RE5 had absolutely shit pacing thanks to the forced co-op.

Because RE5s locations are far more outlandish for the franchise, same way I feel about RE4s. RE5s slums, temples, tribal villages, all stand out much in the way RE4s castles, military strongholds, and villages do. RE6 has a more serious storyline and the locations don't seem as memorable to me.
I like the survival action aspect which the player control and inventory management all play a role in.
