Sophie was a PS3 game on which they based the PS4 version. This is a PS4 game, so there should be noticeable improvements.

I think he looks fine. The fact that you judge people so harshly means you're most likely uglier than he is (at least on the inside).
Sophie was really boring and completely lacked structure and direction. Removing the time system was a terrible mistake. If Firis isn't a notable improvement I'm done with the series most likely, at least until the next sub-series.
Sophie was awful, I wish she would be dead or something.
