In NWN you could zoom close and angle the camera, but here it makes literally no sense.

You don't even need all thos rangers. Just have a balanced team, but give everyone a big-ass firearm as well. Start every fight by focus-firing a caster on the enemy side and instakilling with one salvo, it's fun as fuck.

The design and idea behind the game world is pretty interesting. But too bad that combats are not balanced. Its either you steamroll your enemies or enemies steamroll you. In harder difficulty first 6 levels is all about holding the choke points with your tank. Keep is kinda waste of time same is for Endless path. DLC and ending is good tho.

I've been having a fucking ball playing my Death Godlike Bleak Walker Paladin so far. Instead of straight edgelord villain, I've been going full anti-hero. I'm doing good things but in the most brutal and violent manner possible to keep my Aggressive and Cruel behaviors up.
The build itself is pretty fun too. Just wait until one of the frontline enemies gets a little low on health and BAM!

To be fair a lot of the writing in PoE is fucking trash. You can really tell the game is a first draft. I love walls of text in my RPG's but PoE's text was a slog a good chunk of the time.
