I don't spend much time on /v/, but how the hell is this guy not public enemy no.1 around here?! I'm talking about the guy on the left, Bill Trinen. His little rainbow ribbon says it all. This guy basically ruined Nintendo. If you look at a timeline of where/how he has been involved over the years, it is painfully obvious how he has slowly but surely turned the great stuff coming out of Kyoto into mass-market PC bullshit. If you know Japanese and ever watch him translate for Mitamoto, you'll see how he turns everything into reddit-esque crap. This guy is responsible for many many cancellations of great titles because he just insisted that it 'wasn't marketable' for western audiences. Look at his twitter, it's like the front page or reddit @trintran . Nintendo would be in a much better position right now, and a real savior of gaming right now if it wasn't for this faggy typical north-westerner. He has waaaay too much power as a gatekeeper at Nintendo.

I don't think he has that much clout. There's a lot of NoA staff who have that veiwpoint and they collectively have that affect, but nowhere near as big as you act like it is. Bill's basically Miyamoto's interpreter/footstool, and he's just one guy.
