There's plenty of cover in Deus Ex 1 as well and the AI is quite easy to trick by throwing objects. I mean certain things in Deus Ex 1 like the gas grenades, pepper spray and stun prod keep enemies CCed for up to 20 seconds. Once you get the invisibility aug and a steady stock of biocells you completely break the game

Playing it right now. Graphics are utter shit if you're used to modded DX, but still better than the original release. Big levels are split in many parts, but the game has a few CG cutscenes. Models are a bit better, and so is the camera during dialogues. Energy is unified under a single bar, but music is orchestrated.
I'm kinda conflicted. It's like a slightly easier Deus Ex, but you can now use a controller. I'm playing it on my sofa, using my huge tv, and my god it's so comfy.
