Was always wondering if it was worth picking up an original Xbox.
Are there any exclusives worth it?
There's no such thing as exclusive anymore. Guaranteed, there is a remake or better port of that game you're thinking of.

Not OP but Ninja Gaiden Black is still the definitive version.
Pretty sure it's backwards compatible on 360 though.
OG Xbox was great.
>Ninja Gaiden (Black)
>Otogi 1 and 2
>Genma Onimusha
>JSRF
>Breakdown
>Crimson Skies
>GunValkyrie
>Outrun 2
>Blinx the Time Sweeper
And other good stuff that since has been ported or remastered on other platforms (Halo 1 and 2, Fable, Jade Empire, Sudeki, Phantom Dust).

Get/use a 360, the emulation is fine. Pick up Halo CE and Fable.

There;s a handful of rad games on it but the build quality is so poor it's not worth paying money for one. The failure rate is absurd. If you can get a free one do that, but don't pay money for one.
JET SET RADIOOOOOOO FUUUUUTUUUURE
I've noticed Ninja Gaiden Black actually plays better on the 360, compare the intros which are played in engine there's some framerate drops when it's being played on the original Xbox and on the 360 they're gone. It also applies to the rest of the game, the only down side to playing NGB on a 360 is the bugged translucent wall which appears solid on the 360 which can hinder your view in some missions.
It lurks in the sea, waiting...
