I've never liked the fact that some hentai GOR antagonist stumbled onto the set of Street Fighter and got popular, but even for Juri that Overwatch-ass bodysuit doesn't work for her. I'm so upset with how they handled juri. They removed everything that made her unique in 4, including her purple power, if anyone can tell me why her fireball stuff is black now so I can get more upset that'd be great.
I've spent a few hours with her playing casuals with some friends, labbing it with them too, and she just feels so bland. The lack of control you have around stores and specials now is so dumbed down. Her combos have no substance, she lacks the links and pressure of an offensive character but had her zoning completely stripped.
The special cancelling ability made me think of the cool stuff sin can go in xrd, but it's horribly limited and any setups with meaty fireballs are all ruined in the corner or by a backroll. The difference in shenanigans I've seen from juri and urien are insane. The real kicker is how awesome urien looks and feels, but juri is this horrible mess of a brilliant character design. She only has one appearance in alter fighter, sfxt, there hasn't been enough time to completely overhaul the character.
I guess I like her body suit though.
