I had a 2280 nidoking in a gym and it took less than 2 hours for it to be valor controlled by a bunch of 600-900 stuff. I just cant keep up.

Thats not the issue. I have no problem claiming gyms. It's just that there are never other instinct bros to shack up and defend with me and I'm always cutting down at least three valor guys to cap one...if I leave it alone they hold it until the next day easily.

That's the thing. I have yet to see a gym in my town be Instinct controlled. There are a TON of Valor ones and one Mystics one that they hold onto for dear life in the center of town......any time a gym is yellow though it's just me.

Just got back from over 6 hours of hunting. Spent 15 dollars of gas on hunting with my group of friends. Crazy fun time just driving around for hours. Got a ghastly after putting a lure down by a pier. Also had 3 cars and a pickup drive up on that little pier because of my lure. The beach is a great place for Go. Got the Graveler there at 384. Took a gym for all of two minutes

Grinding Ina local area with a bunch of other people in your car while it's pouring outside is a new kind of fun for me. I got a nice haul today. Some other highlights are scyther, Abra, and dratini. Managed to get 2 Abra, don't know how the fuck people are getting dragonites and lapras though. Haven't seen any alakazam yet. Abras are fairly rare but I found 2 in my city 2 days in a row.
