Sure, no problem. CSGO is not very much above par. It's a skill-based Source FPS and that's really about it. It's not fun, and the reason it has so many microtransactions now is that they know it's a cash cow with a huge fanbase, all of whom I've found to be really annoying children or fags who play hip-hop and vaporwave over mic. The culture surrounding it is really just a counterculture to CoD, which is also really not that far above par in general.
Advanced Warfare was less CoD than the other CoDs we've gotten in the past 8 years and it shows. They didn't rely on the jetpack gimmick for it to be good and different. It has a good story and a nice multiplayer system, even though it still suffers from being a call of duty game

Regardless:I think Dark Souls is a lazily done hackjob that doesn't fully even encapsulate what it's trying to go for most of the time and only blandly executes some medium of theme to it amidst remarkably okay gameplay that doesn't ever take what it used to have to let it grow into a much diverse game in more ways than one. I'd play Dragon's Dogma over it anyday.I've always thought that Silent Hill 4 was a great game with the only thing holding it back being its iffy new combat mechanics. Homecoming wasn't bad either, since it showed the premise of a good concept that could of worked well in the ways of Silent Hill, but they never went with how Alex made up him being a Marine into the story and integrated it into the gameplay somehow ala Shadow of the Colossus. That, and the side characters were absolutely trash.I thought Abe's Odyssey was a little over-rated, but I could very well see why people loved it as much as they did, and it still sits on one of my favorite games that I would recommend to anyoneThe Mega Man Zero games on the Gameboy Advance were absolute dogshit, and I dislike them with a hearty passion. My favorite Mega Man was the demake of Mega Man 8I thought F-Zero GX was better than F-Zero X

Regardless, some more, because I have $20 dollars and I wanna see this thread thrive. That, and I remembered some more:I found that the Battle Network series for the Mega Man games was a beautiful revamp of it and could of gone in so many places with how diverse the setting was and how much could be said in it in a variety of ways without fear of affixing it to some censorship of sorts. I find it a little bit sad that they never made anything out of it other than the sequel's series as well as the original itself, but I suppose it is what it isDonkey Kong 64 was honestly a shitty game that felt like a chore, if anything. Having to constantly switch Kongs to get a sparse few bananas constantly so you could revisit the same place the 100th time with only a slight variation on it due to a change of route from the powers of that specific Kong was fucking terrible. It honestly made me think that the mechanic for switching Kongs was made late into development, because goddamn. I still enjoy everything else about it, but the collection-based shit was just absolute dog shit when pitted up against Banjo-Kazooie and Mario 64.I thought the Five Night's at Freddy's series was actually terrifying, save for the second one, which was moreso silly if anything.I thought the plot for killer7 was easy to understand, and all the imagery around it just as much so. That doesn't hold it back from being one of the greatest games ever, however, and it still is a game that I love to deathI liked Roxas as a protagonist more than Sora

Hideo Kojima is overrated game dev who would be better of making film. If you need 30 minutes of cut scenes to explain your story in a video-game then you just plain failed as a video-game writer.

You obviously haven't played it. In my eyes, it's the "real" BO3. Follows in BO2's footsteps of experimental weapons, interesting maps, and tight, fast gunplay, while also introducing gun stat mods for multiplayer and a loot collection system. Plus jump packs, and that one's up to you to decide
The Witcher 3 is the most overrated piece of media I've ever seen. It's extremely shallow, it's written in a way that basically begs you to like it.

Morrowind is overrated, but it's still pretty good.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance's character designs aren't that bad - they're so oversaturated and campy that I can understand why some people like or dislike them.

I'm not the first guy, I rather think Ghosts was the worst, but it had some neat levels in Campaign. If they had a best of, the space level needs to be in it.
I didn't like Advance Warfare's maps in multiplayer. I like the single player for the most part. I though Black Ops 3's multiplayer was one of the strongest lately, but Black Ops 2 was a high point.
