Not Doom 4. It's a shit game because:
> You can aim vertically
> There's too many enemies
> Not enough hit scan enemies
> Enemies are too difficult to beat
> Enemies are too fast and react to your movement (unlike original Doom)
> Can't be played with only a keyboard (like original Doom)
> Has industrial music (unlike original Doom, which had only hardcore metal tracks)
> Doom 4 is too difficult on nightmare (unlike classic Doom, where it can literally be beat with only a keyboard)
> Doom 4 isn't classic Doom
> Doesn't use classic Doom engine
Bottom line is, Doom 4 is complete and utter console garbage. Unlike classic Doom which is a hardcore arena FPS designed specifically for consoles with a mouse+keyboard setup. It's the very pinnacle of hardcore FPS arena combat games.

In all seriousness though, I enjoyed ALIEN RAGE. It reminds me a LOT of Quake II. It's NOT a perfect game though. But it's incredibly fun and challenging.
Another game you may enjoy is SERIOUS SAM. ALL of the series are AMAZING. They're an absolute throwback to old school FPS games. Painkiller (in my opinion) is WAY too slow and too easy - BUT still FUN.
EARTH DEFENCE FORCE. It's up there with Serious Sam. Terrific.
