You should try the Ogre series or Final Fantasy Tactics.
Berserk and Dark Souls are dark fantasy. GoT is low fantasy mixed with political drama. Perhaps some kind of tactical RPG mainly focused on warring nations and humans with some occasional fantasy creatures rarely appearing? Fire Emblem fits that description, but it never really got to the political levels of some other tactical RPGs like FF Tactics (which is too fantasy to be analogous to GoT).

If you are new to Mount and Blade, just realize that the combat system is not clunky or awful, just different and it will take a bit of time to figure out how to use smoothly. And archery requires skill points to become useful. Eventually, you can learn how to order your troops well.

Expect to fight in a Trial by Combat, deal with scheming Houses, a totalitarian Faith of the Twelve, attend a couple of Red Weddings (once even literally called that), and fight off an invasion of ice zombies attacking a huge frozen fortified wall called the Dusk Vigil(synonym for ???), which is rife with references such as the entire Night's Watch oath, a Lord Commander, and the boss using an attack called Winds of Winter.

varys' presence in dorne suggests that dany will take over the loose martell/tyrell alliance and depose of the lannisters with them. victory against the lannisters would result in dany being in control of most of westeros already, leaving only the vale under CIA and the north under jon. both jon and CIA are reasonable people (mostly), and jon will happily bend the knee to dany in exchange for her support against the night king.
