Plus the games actually go down in price, I see a lot of Vita games under 20 bux while old ass 3DS games still go for 40, it's the reason why I hacked it in the first place.
control layout is fantastic. the d-pad is really nice, and actually a decent size compared to the weirdly spaced out psp one. all buttons feel satisfying to click. and best of all, the dual analog sticks are great, they feel nice to use and they're nicely laid out. i wish the vita was a success just because of how much i love its controls

Nintendo snagging that Monster Hunter deal murdered the Vita.
The D-Pad is arguably the best that's been seen in decades, playing PSP games on it is goddamn amazing, and for all the misgivings had about its library I'd sooner take what 6th gen spirit it does evoke over what is shat out on modern consoles.

Well assuming you're interested in vita games only Grand Kingdom is their best RPG type game on that platform.
The only other game they've made for it that I'd recommend (assuming you don't like danganronpa/ze) is Conception II, which is basically just a slightly worse version of persona 3/4. They also made a version of Budokai Tenkaichi for the Vita that stars a bunch of different shonen jump characters instead of just DB characters.
Over the course of their life before merging/the vita releasing though there are the obvious Dragon Quest games, Budokai, and the original Mystery Dungeon games (yes that has been a series long before the pokemon spinoffs came out).
