A hilarious example in the more popular P3 is the Emperor/Empress fight. It's the easiest goddamn boss fight in the entire game, so it allows you to do social links during the daytime & everything. But then the Emperor can murder the fuck out of you by landing a crit on MC and following up with another attack. And there's nothing you can do about it if they game decides to do that. Bam, you have to do E-VERY-THING all. over. again.

Just started playing this yesterday. Two hours in, I decided to grind just a little bit outside the club because I wanted to switch my Magatama right before I leveled up to see if I can get Ice Breath. Plus I needed money for two other magatamas at the shop.
Had a battle with 5 of those red face things (they're just like the purple ones at the beginning, but a little stronger with pulimpa and mazan spells). I can't remember their names at the moment.
Decided to fight them and instantly got my ass handed to me because they kept spamming mazan.
So that was my first death of the game. Any tips for a guy planning to play it all the way through?

Have a balanced set of demons at all times, exploit the press turn system or the enemy will exploit it against you, keep every buff or debuff spell when fusing demons in the first phase of the game, get Fog Breath asap.
Once you'll be able to fuse Daisoujou and the gang you'll have won the game.
