This is an odd place to post this, but whatever.
I really want to get into Dark Souls, starting with the original. I'll do Demon's Souls some other time. Anyways, my roommate is opening up a bar in Jamaica and has bought a bunch of stuff to send down there, including some tvs, sound systems, and a PS3 with Dark Souls he got off of Craigslist.
I wanna get my hands on that Dark Souls, so I was thinking of trading him for something like Black Ops or Modern Warfare, since it's going to the bar for people to play. Is this a good idea or should I go fuck myself?

I did not include Zelda because in a lot of ways I feel like Dark Souls is Zelda for adults. Dark Souls is what Zelda should've been post a Ocarina of Time, instead Zelda played it way too safe. Obviously, Zelda doesn't need to be that hard, but everything else is in place.

I love the Souls series but its far from the best franchise ever in terms of story. In terms of gameplay? It's good but fairly static.

Dark Souls franchise is hated because it is one of the few if not the only GAME in modern era "gaming". Most "games" now are easy mode interactive movies, Dark Souls is vastly superior to them on every aspect and thus is hated. Dark Souls franchise is one of the best franchises and games ever made. I didn't realize how many parts of DS 1 and 2 I just did NOT want to go through again. 2 had a lot more, and I really appreciate how well designed and connected the DS1 world is, but so much of the game I just didn't want to see again.
3 I enjoyed but I felt like I was in too many castles and prisons. And I hate the wardens. That just wasn't fun.

I would say it's pretty rare that they actually finish the entire franchise even its still sold pretty well.
Plot setting was good and set reincarnated CU as final boss, you couldn't wish better ending other than this.
