Go watch a replay of yours and ask yourself every time you make a decision whether it was the correct one. Was it correct to gank there, how many creeps did I miss in lane? Was it too dangerous to farm here? etc
Also practice last hitting with the heroes you like

Fine. Then just observe what pros are doing in their casul matches and try to understand why they are doing what they are doing. Bonus points if you find a streamer/youtuber who is actually explaining the shit he does.
Furthermore try to stick to a few heroes if possible and learn their limits, as in when you can and can't kill an enemy/ when they can kill you.
And if you wanna be a real faggot you can try to force yourself to be the nicest person ingame and complement every good play your team does. The oposite also works, if you can demoralize one of your opponents to the point of tilting. Just make sure your team rages less than the enemy.

Play a lot of games. No that is literally it, there's no shortcuts, just play thousands of hours of dota.
Now you can make the development faster by testing all the roles to get an understanding of the game and during every single game, even if it's obvious that your team lost you the game, you need to focus on what you're doing wrong.
Sure, catching small tricks from watching some guides can help a bit, or practising last hitting for tens of hours, but in the end it's just about playing for a fuck ton of hours until you've experienced every scenario ten times or so.
