but this may be the actual start to the evolution that will occur as technology gets better over the next couple of decades.
i think in 15 or so years people will have learned how to make vr games and they could be amazing things
its just a matter if theres enough money and interest to keep it going that long, and im doubtful
if they get significantly cheaper and easier to setup and use (preferably smaller, wireless) it would help. as well as some landmark, must-play games
probably will have more use in other fields than entertainment though

I'm not mad, i just don't think it's going anywhere with all these incompetent developers, nothing is revolutionizing VR in any way, the only difference is that you can do it at home now.
Back in the 90's, i used to go to an amusement park where they had this huge ass round treadmill, so you would get in a harness, get onto the treadmill, and then get a VR helmet on, oh - and a gun aswell, then you would get to play some weird version of doom or something.
It was pretty fun, but it was a gimmick, and it still it, only difference now is the graphics and the availibility.

VR is trash and a shitty gimmick like the 3D craze. you're limited to 1st person mode and you won't see fast past action through VR because people will get sick from it.
