I just finished it. Was not that good, weaker than the previous games.
It's very repetetive, you go to the same areas a hundred times and fight the same enemies a hundred times. The enemies and environments weren't scary at all (with the exception of the doll house), the girls were cute though

Yeah, same here. It's based on some japanese urban legend. I have no idea why they didn't use that ghost more, you only saw it like twice during the whole game. When it appeared at the house I got legit scared

I guess. I think I enjoyed the exploration part of the previous games though, which they completely removed. There's something about no puzzles and just running where you're supposed to be by using that shitty waypoint ghost that made me lose all interest in the game. Only part that felt exciting was when the ghosts invaded the house but even that could've been better
