It feels a lot like playing Final Fantasy I. I haven't played a lot of it, but from what I played it barely has a story, attack animations are extremely simple and stiff, and the game is unusually grindy really early on. I don't really care for it. I think it would've benefitted a bit if they stuck with the 2D art; I think the game looks kind of ugly in 3D and it makes the animations look worse. Your character just takes a step, swings the sword horizontally, and then steps back as an attack animation.

I do own the original hardware (PS3). I just wanted it on my platform of choice, as there are benefits to having it on PC that make playing the game more convenient for me. And it was ported, so I purchased it. Then I played it and beat it and had a good time doing it. Just as I've done for many other games that got ported to PC. The shelf life of PC games, STEAM titles in particular, is way longer than console and handheld titles. Likewise, game sales are more evenly distributed across time rather than spiking during launch since a lot of people wait for discounts.

Actually, ESPECIALLY here. Furthermore, there is a tad bit to be gained in discussing the likelihood of something happening based on currently existing precedents and information that the person posting such a request may not know about.
