Just imagine a game where you can alternate between having a sword stowed on your back for travel, scabbard in hand for the just-in-case, or drawn with the scabbard on the ground, and where switching between these modes changes what actions you can do. Actual unbiased opinion - It'll be good if you enjoy a heavily modded game that is more stable and won't crash left and right, as well as some of the atmosphere shaders from Fallout 4.

You should give them a whirl, they're quite nifty. There isn't really anything like them, even if they're not that great.
The first game, Arena, is dated as all heck, avoid it.
Daggerfall is quite good for the novelty value of such a huge world and has a massive amount of content besides but is also a bit primitive. The dungeons that aren't procedurally generated are the best in the series.
Morrowind has a really unique and interesting world with some colourful characters but somehow has worse combat than the previous games and the environments can be really bland and lifeless at times, and it started the series trend of "if something didn't work in the previous game, don't try to fix it, just remove it". Still a great RPG.
Oblivion looks hideous, has a pretty boring generic high fantasy world, and retcons a lot of cool stuff from the previous games, but the quests are really interesting and imaginative and the combat actually works. Level scaling enemies and loot ruins any incentive to explore or go off the beaten path, though. You can tell it's a little unfinished but it's fun for a couple o' playthroughs.
Skyrim is like a collection of diamonds in a sandbox filled with garbage. Some quests are outstanding, some characters are incredibly interesting, the core mechanics work better than any other game in the series, but they sacrificed a lot of RPG elements and most quests and characters are just bland. In addition to the "if it's broke, just remove it" philosophy, there's also the "you can do anything!" game design coming in to play, where all your choices are inconsequential and you can do everything on one playthrough
Does the PC version atleast fix bugs and remove limit on how much vram the game can use? I'd get it for those two alone.

I'm not an obese mod installer so I'm pleased. Minor graphical improvements are nice, I'll probably grab the latest rape mods since I think there's decent NPC pregnancy now and I think there are even some good necrophilia and male-PC-raping-monsters mods, so it'll be worth another play.
The only real question is if I want to play a barbarian that goes around raping everything, or if I want to be a stealth-rapist. My last character was a fighter so I'm leaning toward stealth, but it's less satisfying than just beating something into submission and then dicking it so I dunno yet. It's incredibly shallow with forced and flat dialogue and quests. Hard to be immersed when you end a war and everyone says it's still going on. It's buggy and clunky, the quest markers turn most quests into "walk here". That's not fun. There's no depth to it. It's hardly immersive. After the main quest, there is nothing to do that isn't the same thing over and over again. Instead of giving the player choices and challenges, you can be a member of every guild, practice every combat style, and kick the shit out of everything with your 100 smithing crafted daedric armor and sword.
