An Xbox is generally pretty cheap. You could easily find one for 30 dollars. Mod it, download every xbox game, put other emulators on it.
It's honestly worth more to buy it than having an emulator for it. You can even play online through tunnel servers like xlink kai

There are emulators for hardware weaker than Xbox, how have you not realized this
there are a few that are in development. Emulators are hard to write. Reverse engineering a system as complex as the xbox is extremely difficult.
Microsoft has their emulators (which aren't perfect btw, ever try playing JSRF on them?) because they know exactly how things work. They designed it.

The CPU side is easy to emulate, it's literally an old Pentium. What is blocking everything is one one knows how to emulate the GPU, which is some really ol Nvidia chip and Nvidia certainly isn't giving out documentation on it. I think BIOS and other areas have also caught up so yeah, blame Nvidia.
