The damage output and health levels just don't allow for it to happen outside of "the enemy team licks windows" or "i used my ult"
In a balanced match (hahahah) you would never get away with a solo team kill. The way the game was designed requires you to rely on your teammates more than your individual skill, and if you believe otherwise you've never played a game that actually required individual skill.

It's obviously a team based game, but I think that's where the skill comes in. You have to coordinate with a team to be effective, and if you're shit you will always lose. with a game like starcraft it's all about one person coordinating everything, which is a skill in itself but I think Overwatch leaves a lot more room open for creative combinations of teams. and again, none of these teams work effectively if the people themselves don't play well.

they patched it so that sudden death almost never happens anymore. the whole way comp works now is better and balanced. and if you'll notice, almost every game defenders have more kills than attackers unless attackers straight wiped them on the first or second spawn. defense units are designed primarily for tank kills and clumped units and such.
