You know it's funny, I really liked the first two Saw movies for everything except the cinematography. That whole quick edit, flashy style really should have died with the '90s, and yet the Saw movies embraced that shit. So of course they had to make an even more annoying attempt at copying it in their game engine.

If they wanted to make the traps scarier by obscuring things or making them more disorienting they should have tried to accomplish this through set design or better choreographed action. Editing like that in my opinion is a cheap shortcut.
