In Sengoku Rance he fucks Aki who was married to some other guy but grossly mistreated her husband who basically sent his country into poverty trying to please her and she never gave him the time of day.
In the Ran route he fucks Ran who is engaged with Souun but the whole thing was Ran needing him to help Souun and him agreeing to it for sex. The good end of that route has Ran choosing him over Souun. The route isn't canon either.
In other games well Magic and Alex in had an almost relationship where everyone assumed they'd one day get together but the never actually did.
And Rance getting all the girls Bird is interested in is a bit of a running joke but Bird is also a creep pretending to be a gentleman to try and pick up girls.

It does have a soft turn limit during your first playthrough. The gourds will break on their own if you don't do it yourself, which will eventually bring out the Demon Army. And then you'll automatically push the Demon Army back to Shimazu lands in a cutscene if you take too long in that part of the game, taking you right to the endgame with very little else left to do other than finish them off.
