Not really. I don't like the G700's cord at all and it's heavy as fuck. The left switch burned out in the course of the 3 odd years and I had to replace the switch copper spring to solve the double-click problem.

>>344605471
Where can you actually find mice of quality build and sensor where they haven't put some kind of gaming angle on it, except for the intellimouse which is a good shit.
I actually stole some kind of precursor laser intellimouse from school in like 2004. It was the only one in the school and I was fascinated because I'd never seen laser technology before on a mouse.
It was a nigger thing to do but I took good care of it and it lasted me up until 2011. One of the most accurate mice I'd ever used, went pro on the FPS I played with it.
I replaced it with a Logitech mouse.
Big fucking mistake.

I've been using the G303 for about a year now.
I guess I'm used to the weird/bad shape but I think I'm ready to go back to a more standard mouse.
I used to use the FK so I've never had a non-ambi mouse. I might buy the EC2 since I have small hands.
Thoughts?
>>344606962
I love the deathadder but my only complaint it's a bit on the light side.

Most mice use micro momentary push switches; they're pretty easy to swap out assuming you can solder. I just had to put some new switches into my old intellimouse, it's very straight forward.
All you need is a soldering iron, the new switches that'll fit in the pcb holes (the tricky part), solder wire and solder wick.
Most micro switches use 3 pins, but there are some that use 2 or 4 pins as well.
>>344597235

The G400 has the same shape as the worst mouse I've ever owned, so again, I fail to see how the G402 being different from the G400 is bad.

Again, a little less comfort. Why the fuck is a corner missing? Why have a button where the thumb rests? And why are you getting a mouse from a series that supposedly has the worst shape ever then? They're not that different.
I had a Deathadder but the scoll wheel started not working properly after 4 years so it was relegated to the 2nd PC.
Now I'm using a G400S and it's the comfiest thing ever.

I got my money back. If only it had been a bit wider...
i wish the intellimouse was 800dpi
;_;
>>344610931
G502 has the best sensor on the planet. I think the 402 (maybe the 303?) have the same sensor.
PixArt 3366. A closed sensor developed in conjunction with Logitech, much like Corsair's industry leading Cherry MX RGB switches they designed in conjunction with Cherry. They are unlikely to see use outside of Logitech mice.
>>344594523
I have that exact mouse. It works pretty damn good. The cord quality isnt the best though but besides that its reaction time and overall functions are satisfying. Maybe it doesn't work with niggers.
>>344608875
...so it's a different mouse?
>>344609883
>And why are you getting a mouse from a series that supposedly has the worst shape ever then?
Because it was a G5 and it came out long before the G400 did. I learned my lesson from the G5 and have gone through several mice since. I'm on a G502 now and it's the best mouse I've ever owned.
As for the other two questions, ask Logitech. The thumb button on my G502 is never an issue though.
>get one on sale for $50 in 2011
>starting to break after 4 years

>>344612148
G700's battery indicator never works as it should.
>>344612064
Entirely up to your own needs.
Personally, I'm using a razer vespula. I like having the choice of 2 sides with different fucntions, the wrist pillow is comfy and the mousepad is just the right size. The 'precision' side works amazing with my g400s, playing on that setup and on my friend's gypsie setup is like night and day.
>>344606781
How's the elite? The steam controller feels like a huge letdown and I'm kinda getting bored of my regular 360 pad.
Also, lol at people who really think burning 300 bucks is a big deal.
>>344613128
not anon you are refering to, but the elite is pretty nice imo. I have 2 of them and they are much better quality than the normal ones, however their price is pretty bullshit.
Honestly though the normal xbone controller is fine if you are planning on taking it easy, if you are going hardcore 420 xD gamer mode grab the elite, it will last longer.
>>344613128
I play on PC, so I have other concerns that consoles don't have.
Some people have reported build quality issues with the analog stick. I have not had such problem with mine.
I actually like the disc. The Dualshock 4 d-pad feels nicer than the xbone d-pad to me.
The ability to adjust stick height is nice.
The paddles are great. No need for Claw hold anymore.
Remapping pisses me off. I can't remap the paddles to independent keystrokes. The paddles can only be remapped to existing controller buttons. I can't set them to macro or multiple key combination as with gaming mice or the Steam Controller.
Steam controller is a good media center controller, but it feels real cheap in my hands. The touchpads and Steam big picture mode are what's worthwhile about it. I actually liked the Vive controllers more than the Steam controller.
>>344613737
Dang, is a dedicated PC pad too much to ask? I'm already butthurt as FUCK that years keep passing amd Logitech won't update the g13.
>>344613737
I feel the same about the steam controller... it feels cheap and clumpy
>>344613836
I feel the same. G13 just needs to update itself by:
1. use mechanical switches
2. Use Xbox/Dualshock like analog stick
and it'll be much better.
But nope. Logitech refuses to update it.
>>344613836
An xbox 360 controller is pretty much a dedicated PC pad. It just works 100.0% with zero drivers, zero incompatibility issues, and zero software. You LITERALLY turn it on, and whatever game you are playing LITERALLY just works with it if it's reasonably modern. You could have been playing a game for 30 minutes with mouse and keyboard, then the instant you touch the 360 controller all the UI for input instantly changes to 360 input indicators.
What more could you want? Don't tell me you ACTUALLY want clunky software that doesn't work half the time and has to be set up for every game...I guess if you wanted that bullshit you could just use software in conjunction with the 360 controller. It's Xinput. It's easy to work with. It shouldn't be any bit hard remapping the keys.
>>344611534
Are you me?
Only difference is that I have no warranty, so I'm fucked.
It's been acting up on me for the past 3 or 4 years, but I just can't replace it.
Is there a modern equivalent of the G9?
>>344594523
Well at least you got replies if that is what you were looking for.
If not, well too bad, it's actually a great mouse.
>>344614097
I feel you dude. Would also be nice if the buttons next to the stick weren't awkward to use.
I feel like there's 12 people in the world with G13's so I guess that's why they kinda forgot they existed?
I tried Razer's alternatives but their clicky dpad/thumb thing was dicks.
Keyboard's starting to feel old, and while I love that corsair you posed (use one like that at work) I prefer to just have one gaming peripheral software installed at home.
>>344614152
That's how it's like to use the Dualshock 4 on PC.
360 and Xbone controller just work on Windows 10. Microsoft is just being a dick by not letting the Xbone work as it should on Win7/8 cause planned obsolescence.

>>344598051
Had this too. Worst gaming mouse I've ever owned, and that includes a fucking copper covered chinese bootleg deception mouse that turns your hand green. Always needed to keep adjusting this thing to feel comfortable, and the sensor broke in 3 months. Complete garbage.
>>344597520
My Rival 100 blew up fast. The click mechanism is total garbage. Really nice shape though.
>>344606056
This is my current toy. I got it on discount for six bucks. I decided to buy two for that price, in case the first breaks within the next three months. So far it's a fucking beast. Overclock the thing to 500Hz and it's a monster. Rather use this than anything by Razer at full price (I've only bought Razer through 25+% discounts, or used). Only gripe is that the wheel is kinda shitty.
