its really jarring having entire cities populated by either 5 year olds or 30 year olds with no inbetween at all when they even had an inbetween fucking modeled
Its been 20 hours in game since i completed his quest, and i have waited ever since to see that man again. But then i learned his story wont be finished and i will never see him again.
Because the choice was he either leaves or he dies. If he actually came back there'd have to be a replacement npc or nothing at all for the people who had him kill himself. That's probably extra work that cdp didnt want to do.

There's a difference between men and boys. The Red Baron was a boy with a small army, hiding in an abandoned fort, reduced to coercing a witcher to do all his dirty work, lying a great deal through out the process all to hide his insecurities.
His men did not respect him. They took advantage of having a weak leader having family issues, and he was more worried about what others thought of him than leading. He was a weak man grasping a straws.
Does anyone know how bad the XP drop is when a quest is runs below your level? I'm somewhat worried, but it seems like secondary, witcher contracts, and treasure hunts don't give anywhere near as much XP as the main quests do even when you're at the correct level.
