The problem is that in Phoenix Wright the legal system being fucked up is part of the world already. Making a comparison between the game world and the real one can be interesting in a "This is how the law works" sort of way but calling a character a criminal for following the rules of their own world is just clickbait.
It's like if country A finds one thing illegal but country B does not. You can make the comparison and that can be interesting, but to call someone living in country B a criminal for following that law is just stupid clickbait.
