Overwatch is pretty fun but I'd say FFXIV.
It's hard to say though because they're both very different types of games, so it also depends upon whether you want an MMO or an FPS/MOBA hybrid.
FFXIV has a significantly greater amount of content though.

I kind of want both. Overwatch seems fun but I don't know for how long I'm going to play it. For all I know, I might think the game is boring after 50 hours because I keep playing the same heroes on the same maps. FFXIV has a ton of content but I don't know how fun it is.

Is there a certain age group that honestly thinks online multiplayer games are fun?
I enjoyed WoW when the community was thoughtful and helpful, but once that ended, the game stopped being fun. Modern multiplayer games are far too competitive.
